The Annual LIC Waterfront 5K
The Hunters Point Parks Conservancy is proud to partner with the Woodside-Sunnyside Runners and Run LIC to put on the annual LIC Waterfront 5K.
This event takes runners and walkers through the streets and waterfront parks of Long Island City and is an extremely popular family-friendly event that drawers casual and competitive runners alike. After the conclusion of the 5K, the festivities also include the Center Boulevard Children’s Dashes for kids 2-9.
Previous races have been attended by over 1,300 runners and walkers. All proceeds from the event go to HPPC and are put back into our parks or used for our free community events!
