Hunters Point Parks Conservancy, in partnership with Queens Council on the Arts and LIC Landing by COFFEED is proud to present “Live at the Landing,” a summer music series featuring Queens-based musicians from multiple genres, neighborhoods, and backgrounds. Programs will be every other Thursday evening in June, July, and August from 6-8 pm

On August 8th we present Shelly Bhushan: Honest, soulful, empowering...all words to describe singer/songwriter Shelly Bhushan. Gifted with an incredibly powerful voice, Shelly draws on a depth of emotion that ranges from desire to defiance, longing to exhilaration. It’s as if her soul reaches out to yours when you hear her sing--real, without a trace of pretentiousness.

Fans have likened Shelly and her band to Donny Hathaway, Bonnie Raitt, Emily King, Aretha, Etta James. It's hard to pin down, but the inability to classify her is the very thing that makes Shelly's music so interesting.

Shelly is currently working on her 5th studio release set to be out in 2020.
