Hunters Point Parks Conservancy, in partnership with Queens Council on the Arts and LIC Landing by COFFEED is proud to present “Live at the Landing,” a summer music series featuring Queens-based musicians from multiple genres, neighborhoods, and backgrounds. Programs will be every other Thursday evening in June, July, and August from 6-8 pm
On July 25th we present Pam Reyes: Pam Reyes first found the courage to sing her personal lyrics outside of her Sunnyside bedroom at the age of 16. Today, she performs in such mainstay New York City venues as Bowery Electric, The Bitter End, Rockwood Music Hall, and C’mon Everybody, both as a solo act and with her band of friends. It has been said that Pam’s performances are an exercise in collective vulnerability—a roomful of strangers in concerted reminiscence. Her frank, bordering on dark, songwriting meets her stirring voice in a match made not quite in heaven or hell, but some place just in between.
In October 2019, Pam independently released her most ambitious project to date. In an emotive style all her own, the new single and music video, “Dear Dreamer,” explores her own family’s migration to America and stands in solidarity with young immigrants threatened by the current White House administration.
Joining Pam for this performance will be opening acts New Masons and Chloe Hennessee.
