During Climate Week, HPPC will be working with our partners at the Newtown Creek Aliance, PS/IS 78, and Hunter’s Point Community Middle School to create a pollinator meadow within the medians on 48th Ave. These spaces have been neglected for years and are currently overgrown with weeds and full of trash.

Volunteers are needed on a few different days as this is a large project that will take place in 4 parts. Full details and links to sign up for each day can be found here.

Sanitized gloves will be provided and masks will be required. All events will meet at 48th ave and Center Blvd unless otherwise noted.
