HPPC & Snapology Present: Brick Art & Design

Join HPPC & Snapology LIC for a children’s LEGO STEAM adventure! On Thursday, February 11 at 2:30pm we present Brick Art & Design!

Event Description: Edgar Degas, a famous artist, once said, 'Art is not what you see, but what you make others see'. As your child learns about different types of art and the periods they were created, students will be interpreting what they see and creating their own works of art using LEGO® bricks. Through Snapology’s interactive Art History class, children will learn about Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Van Gogh’s Starry Night, Wright’s Falling Water, and many more!

**This program is meant for children ages 4-10. Children under 4 are welcome, but should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All programs require loose LEGO bricks (approximately a 1/2 gallon, or one Ziploc bag worth)**

This program is part of a series of events hosted by Hunters Point Parks Conservancy & Snapology
