Join HPPC & Snapology LIC for a children’s LEGO STEAM adventure! On Thursday, March 11 at 2:30pm we present Snapology Scientists - Astronomy!
Event Description: Does your child love to experiment and ask questions about the world around them? If so, it sounds like you already have a little scientist on your hands! Snapology’s Scientists program helps children explore their curiosities and cultivate a deep love for science by experiencing the different domains of scientific study. In this lesson, students will study our solar system in order to understand the structure of our solar system, how each planet is unique, how astronomers examine planets, and how each planet orbits around the sun.
**This program is meant for children ages 4-10. Children under 4 are welcome, but should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All programs use loose LEGO bricks (approximately a 1/2 gallon, or one Ziploc bag worth) - or can be done with pencil & paper**
This program is part of a series of events hosted by Hunters Point Parks Conservancy & Snapology
