Flowing through Time: The History of the East River

The East River has had a long impactful history, let's learn about it!

Who: Ages 5 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

What: Explore the history of the East River by learning about its formation, changing ecology, and human uses and impacts on this guided walk through Gantry Plaza State Park.

Where: Meet at the picnic area by Rainbow Playground. We will then walk around the park and stop occasionally for different activities.

In order to ensure the health and safety of our staff and participants, please follow the guidelines below regarding COVID-19:

  • Social distancing and mask wearing will be encouraged.

  • Participants must pre-register through Eventbrite.

PLEASE NOTE: Tickets are required for ALL people attending the event (INCLUDING adults and babies). Please reserve one ticket per individual.
