Dear Friends of Gantry Plaza State Park,
Our August environmental education program schedule is here!
All public programs are FREE and pre-registration is recommended unless otherwise noted. Use the links below to register on Eventbrite or register with us in person during our Ask an Educator Table sessions, Ranger Station, or Game Library open hours. See below to find out what we have going on this August and help us spread the word!
Spotting the Spotted Lanternfly!
Saturday, August 7th
Time: 3:00-4:30pm
Learn about NY State's newest invader and help our stewardship team survey the park for the unique spotted lanternfly!
Ages 8 and older. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Important note regarding COVID-19:
In order to ensure the health and safety of our staff and participants, we will be limiting our capacity for some programs. For our more popular programs, we will offer multiple sessions to accommodate as many participants as possible.
Pre-registration through Eventbrite is highly recommended to ensure that space is available. Please reserve one ticket for each person attending the event (INCLUDING caregivers and babies).
To allow space for as many people as possible, we ask that you please only register for one session per program and show up for the timeframe of the session on the ticket that you reserved. If we have not heard from you by 10 minutes into the program, your tickets will be released.
Masks will be encouraged during our programs when social distance cannot be maintained.
Stay tuned for more August programs to come!
