Every inch of space is home to someone and the medians along 48th Ave in LIC are now home to a great diversity of flowering plants and the pollinators that rely on them. Join Newtown Creek Alliance as they walk you through the new meadows as the plants come alive after the long winter. They will share insight on what planted, what pollinators they may support, and how New Yorkers can help habitats like this one thrive.
