Hunter's Point South Park Kids Nature Tour

This Fall, the Hunters Point Parks Conservancy is partnering with Gabriel Willow, a freelance environmental educator to host one children’s nature tour in Hunter's Point South Park. The tour will be limited to 20 kids so registration is required. Please only sign up if you know you will be able to attend. If you need to cancel your spot, please do so using the Eventbrite page. Register here.

Welcome fall with us and take a nature tour of the park that will focus on the restored tidal marsh ecosystem, with some ecological history of NYC weaved in. Learn about the great potential these habitats have both as an oasis for migrating birds and also how they serve as buffers from storms and sea level rise, and increase the resiliency of our waterfront and neighborhoods.

Participants will meet at the entrance to Hunter's Point South Park at the intersection of Center Blvd. & Borden Ave. (pin location here) Please make sure you arrive 5-10 minutes before the start time.

Please note this event is strictly for children ages 7-14, there are two adult nature tours that take place September 17 and October 8 (linked here). The one kids event will take place on October 1.
